Water Fun Day

On Friday the 8th of February was water fun day we were all in class waiting for the teacher to setup the activity in the school ground and when it was set up our teacher ad sent us to go change and when we were done we all grabbed our hat’s before we left the classroom to the netball courts we were all sitting down in our room line room 1,5,7,9 and room 10 when we were sitting down Miss tofa told us about the activity and when she was done we went to our activity and when she rang the bell we started we went down the slide and we ran to the bin and then we had to bring it back to the bucket and after a while it was time to go to the next activity.

When it was the last activity we were done and Kowhai won water fun day and for all of us gets an ice block and Kowhai got to go swimming and when we all went back to class it was morning tea but we all had to get change and we all had our lunch .

In the Holiday

In the holiday I went to my aunts house with my brother,sisters,mum,dad and my baby brother when we were at the driveway we walked up to the door and when we rang the doorbell we were waiting for someone to open the door but no one opened it. But after a couple of minutes my aunts open the door and said hi to us and we said hi back to her we all went in side we all saw our uncle and we all sat down on the chair and we were playing fortnite.


When it was the afternoon it was lunchtime we all had five dollar hot chips and when we were done eating hot chips all of the kids jump into the swimming pool to swim around we were swimming around for one hour and 40 minutes and when we wanted to get out of the pool we all got out and got change.after getting change we all sat down on the chair and we got some snack to eat and watch fast and the furious 8 after the movie was done it was night and it was time to go home when we got home we all went to bed.

Who am I

Kia Ora, my name is Gideon. I have four siblings, two sisters and one brother and my baby brother we all go to the same school. My younger sister is in room 5 and the other one is in room 9. My brother and I are in room 10. I’m nine years old.

My hobbies are playing sports, maths and playing fortnite. My mum stays home and at the end of school she comes and picks us up and my dad works really hard and comes home to take a long nap. I like eating watermelon and strawberry and bananas. My favourite colours are blue, red, green, yellow and pink.

When I get older I would like to work at KFC.

THE LONG WEEKEND/STAYING HOME

It was a bright sunny morning.I woke up feeling happy and also abit tired. So I went into the bathroom and washed my face and after that I brushed my teeth to make them look shiny.
After I was done brushing my teeth I went and made myself an egg sandwich. I filled up a cup with milk and then I ate my breakfast.

Next I went in the lounge  and I sat down and I played fortnite on my dad’s ps4. I was playing on the game for 1 hour and 40 minutes. my brother and my two sisters woke up and they came into the lounge to play too.

When it was the afternoon my brother and my two sisters were all hungry so I made them some eggs with bacon and with milk.
they ate all of the food and then my mom and dad woke up. they smelt the food and they asked “what’s cooking?”
I said I’ve made my brother and the two girls some food to eat and also I’ve saved you some mom and dad.

After dinner we all said good night to our mom and dad and then we went to our rooms and went off to bed ready for school in the morning.

What makes a good friend?

A good friend will always be by your side and never leave you behind. They will tell the truth and never lie. We tell secrets and we take care of them.

We play together and never be apart. We are role models to all the little ones. We use our manners and we don’t swear. We also be polite everywhere we go.

We respect each other and don’t use put downs. We forgive them if they're silly. We listen to our friends and never look away when they are speaking. We return what we got and look after their property.
