Wild Orphans

1.How do the elephants get there name.?
They are often named after the area where they were found.


2.What do the elephants and the keepers do at sunrise.?
At sunrise they go out to play in the bush.


3.What does this mean? “Elephants never forget”
Elephants will remember their keepers for the rest of their lives.


4.Why are the elephant mothers killed?
They are killed for their tusks.


5.What is baby elephants called?
Young elephants are  called calves.

This is a map of Africa showing Kenya where the Tsavo National Park is. In the park is an orphanage for baby elephants whose mothers have been killed for their tusks.
